AERA is an adults-only AI companion platform built around fictional adult characters.

We permit adult-oriented fictional interactions but maintain strict restrictions designed to prevent illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, or otherwise prohibited content.

Adults Only

All characters participating in sexual or sexually suggestive interactions must be represented as adults aged 18 or older.

Sexual content involving minors, persons presented as minors, or age-ambiguous persons is prohibited.

Prohibited Content

The following categories are prohibited on AERA:

• Sexual content involving minors or persons presented as under 18, including fictional, AI-generated, animated, or age-ambiguous depictions;
• Sexual age-play involving minors or requests to portray an adult character as a minor;
• Incest, including simulated or role-played incest;
• Rape, sexual assault, forced sexual activity, or other non-consensual sexual content;
• Sexual exploitation, trafficking, coercion, or forced prostitution;
• Bestiality or sexual activity involving animals;
• Necrophilia;
• Sexual content involving torture, mutilation, extreme physical harm, or extreme violence;
• Unauthorized sexual depictions, deepfakes, or sexual impersonation of real individuals;
• Non-consensual intimate imagery or voyeuristic sexual content;
• Sexual extortion or sextortion;
• Content promoting sexual exploitation or abuse;
• Content promoting hatred or violence against protected groups;
• Content facilitating or promoting illegal activity;
• Other content prohibited by applicable law or applicable payment-network requirements.

Fictional Characters

AERA's characters are intended to be fictional adults.

Users may not use the Service to create or request unauthorized sexual representations of identifiable real people.

User Uploads

AERA does not currently permit users to upload images or videos for generation or publication.

This restriction helps prevent unauthorized third-party content, non-consensual intimate imagery, and real-person sexual deepfakes from being introduced through user uploads.

Moderation and Enforcement

AERA uses safety controls designed to detect and prevent prohibited content.

Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may block a request or generated output, restrict functionality, remove content, review flagged activity, suspend an account, or permanently terminate access.

Attempts to circumvent safety restrictions may themselves result in enforcement.
