AERA is an adults-only AI companion platform. The following content and activities are prohibited across the Service, including AI conversations, characters, scenarios, and generated content.

1. Minors / CSAM

Any sexual, sexually suggestive, romanticized, or exploitative content involving or implying a person under 18 is strictly prohibited.

This includes:

• Explicit references to persons under 18 in a sexual or suggestive context;
• Fictional, AI-generated, animated, or illustrated depictions of minors in sexual contexts;
• Characters whose appearance or body proportions reasonably suggest a minor;
• Grooming or sexual exploitation of minors;
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.

All characters participating in sexual or sexually suggestive interactions must be represented as adults aged 18 or older.

2. Age-Play / Age Ambiguity

Sexual content involving age-play or characters presented, described, coded, or role-played as minors is prohibited, even where the character is described as 18 or older elsewhere.

This includes framing such as “about to turn 18,” school-age or childhood scenarios, or other characteristics intended to imply that a sexualized character is underage.

3. Incest

Sexual or romantic content involving actual or implied biological family relationships is prohibited, including simulated or role-played incest.

4. Non-Consensual Sexual Content

Content depicting, promoting, eroticizing, or facilitating rape, sexual assault, forced sexual activity, or other sexual activity where consent is absent or cannot be given is prohibited.

This includes sexual scenarios involving coercion, threats, forced captivity, drugging, or a person's inability to consent.

5. Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking

Content depicting, promoting, facilitating, soliciting, or supporting human trafficking, sexual exploitation, sexual slavery, forced prostitution, coercion, or other forms of commercial sexual exploitation is prohibited.

AERA may not be used to recruit, advertise, solicit, or facilitate the trafficking or exploitation of any person.

6. Bestiality

Sexual content involving animals is prohibited, including fictional or AI-generated depictions of sexual activity involving animals.

7. Necrophilia

Sexual content involving deceased persons or sexualized depictions of dead bodies is prohibited.

8. Sexual Violence and Extreme Violence

Sexual content involving torture, mutilation, serious physical harm, extreme violence, or sexualized death is prohibited.

9. Unauthorized Real-Person Sexual Content / Deepfakes

Unauthorized sexual or intimate depictions or impersonations of identifiable real individuals are prohibited.

This includes sexual deepfakes or other AI-generated sexual content intended to depict celebrities, public figures, or private individuals without appropriate authorization.

10. Voyeurism / Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery

Content depicting, promoting, or facilitating non-consensual intimate imagery is prohibited.

This includes hidden-camera sexual content, stolen or leaked intimate material, or sexual imagery presented as having been created, obtained, or shared without the depicted person's consent.

11. Sexual Extortion / Sextortion

Content promoting, facilitating, instructing, or encouraging sexual blackmail, sextortion, or threats involving intimate or sexual material is prohibited.

12. Scat / Defecation

Sexual or fetish content involving feces, defecation, or the consumption of feces is prohibited.

13. Vomiting

Sexual or fetish content involving vomiting, vomit, or the consumption of vomit is prohibited.

14. Sexual Content Involving Menstruation

Sexual or fetish content involving menstruation or menstrual blood is prohibited.

15. Hate and Discriminatory Content

Content that promotes hatred, dehumanization, violence, abuse, or exploitation against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics is prohibited.

16. Terrorism and Violent Extremism

Content that promotes, glorifies, recruits for, instructs in, or materially supports terrorism, terrorist organizations, or violent extremist activity is prohibited.

17. Suicide and Self-Harm

Content that encourages, promotes, romanticizes, or provides instructions for suicide or self-harm is prohibited.

Good-faith discussions relating to prevention, recovery, support, or help-seeking are not prohibited.

18. Illegal Drugs and Serious Criminal Activity

AERA may not be used to plan, facilitate, solicit, instruct, or meaningfully assist serious real-world illegal activity.

This includes:

• Human trafficking or exploitation;
• Financial fraud;
• Kidnapping;
• Illegal weapons activity;
• Manufacture or distribution of illegal drugs;
• Other serious unlawful conduct.

19. Intellectual Property and Rights of Others

Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of third parties is prohibited.

AERA may not be used to intentionally reproduce or impersonate protected characters, identities, or other content in violation of applicable rights.

20. Circumvention and Evasion

Attempts to circumvent AERA's safety systems, moderation safeguards, or Content Policy are prohibited.

This includes attempts to conceal prohibited requests through coded language, alternate languages, obfuscation, repeated reformulation, misleading character descriptions, or other techniques intended to bypass content restrictions.

Enforcement

These restrictions apply throughout the AERA Service, including private AI conversations, characters, scenarios, and generated content.

AERA may block or restrict generation, remove or restrict content, modify or disable characters or scenarios, or suspend or terminate access where violations are identified.

Content or activity that may violate applicable law may be preserved, restricted, removed, or reported to appropriate authorities where required by law.
