By accessing or using AERA, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to access adult-oriented content in your jurisdiction.

2. About AERA

AERA is an AI companion and interactive entertainment platform.

Users can communicate with fictional AI characters through personalized conversations and interactive scenarios and may receive AI-generated text, images, video, and other digital content.

AI-generated responses may vary and may sometimes be inaccurate, unexpected, or inconsistent.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, AERA characters are fictional and are not intended to represent real individuals.

3. Adult Content

Certain areas of AERA may contain sexually suggestive or sexually explicit fictional content intended exclusively for adults.

Access to such content is subject to our age restrictions and Content Policy.

The availability of content may vary by jurisdiction.

4. User Inputs

Users may provide text-based messages, preferences, selections, and other inputs necessary to interact with AI companions.

AERA does not permit users to upload images or videos for generation or publication unless we expressly introduce and authorize such functionality in the future.

You may not use the Service to request, generate, facilitate, distribute, or promote content prohibited under our Content Policy.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AERA to create, request, facilitate, or promote illegal or prohibited content.

This includes, without limitation, sexual content involving minors or persons presented as minors, sexual age-play involving minors, incest, non-consensual sexual activity, sexual exploitation or trafficking, bestiality, necrophilia, extreme sexual violence, unauthorized sexual depictions of real individuals, non-consensual intimate content, sexual extortion, or other unlawful material.

Attempts to circumvent our safety systems or repeatedly generate prohibited content may result in restriction or termination of access.

6. AI Content and Moderation

AERA uses automated systems and other safeguards designed to prevent prohibited content.

We may monitor, restrict, block, or review interactions where necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, or improve platform safety.

We may modify, restrict, or remove characters, scenarios, generated content, or features at any time where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, or operation of the Service.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require payment.

Prices, billing periods, and applicable subscription terms will be presented before purchase.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize AERA and its payment service providers to charge the applicable subscription fee at the stated billing interval until the subscription is canceled.

You may cancel a subscription in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided through the Service. Unless otherwise stated at purchase, cancellation prevents future renewal charges and does not retroactively refund amounts already charged.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. AERA does not directly store complete payment-card information where payments are handled by such providers.

8. Virtual Credits and AIRs

AERA may offer virtual credits, including “AIRs,” for use within the Service.

Virtual credits have no cash value, are not legal tender, are not cryptocurrency, and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by applicable law.

Virtual credits may only be used for eligible features within AERA and may be subject to expiration or other restrictions disclosed at the time of purchase or issuance.

9. Intellectual Property

AERA and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, branding, design, characters, original scenarios, and other proprietary materials, except where otherwise stated.

You may not copy, sell, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit AERA's proprietary materials except as expressly authorized by us or permitted by law.

10. Rights of Others

You may not use AERA to infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, identity, or other legal rights.

If you believe content available through AERA violates your rights, please follow our Content Removal & Rights Policy.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to AERA where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, our Content Policy, applicable law, or attempted to circumvent our safety systems.

Serious violations, particularly those involving minors, exploitation, or other illegal content, may result in immediate termination.

12. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or introduce features at any time.

We do not guarantee that every feature, AI model, character, scenario, or piece of generated content will remain continuously available.

13. Disclaimer

AERA provides AI-powered interactive entertainment.

AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AERA and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
